FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountaineer Basketball to host Alumni Day on Saturday, Feb. 23

MANSFIELD – Mansfield University men's and women's basketball will host Athletics Alumni Day on Saturday, Feb. 23 when the Mounties take on Millersville University at Decker Gymnasium. The women are set to tip-off at 1:00 p.m. followed by the men at 3:00 p.m.

All Mansfield alumni and their families are invited to come out and support the Mountaineers. There is FREE admission to all athletic alumni. A reception will be held following the men's game at Gregory's Restaurant & Lounge (formerly Mark's Brothers) in downtown Mansfield for all alumni.

On Friday, there will be an alumni game at 7:00 p.m. at Decker for former men's and women's basketball players. Please contact Alison Tagliaferri at (570) 662-4864 or at atagliaf@mansfield.edu if you are interested in playing in the alumni game or attending the events on either day.

The Mansfield Inn, the Mansfield Microtel Inn & Suites and the Mansfield Comfort Inn have all set aside a limited number of rooms with a special discounted rate for any alumni wishing to stay the weekend. The nightly rates are listed below:
